The ICCGB Accredited Breeder Scheme has been established to recognise and support breeders who are committed to preserving the integrity, health, and temperament of the Cane Corso.
Our scheme is built on clear standards, verified health testing, ethical breeding practice, and transparency. It exists to protect the breed, guide puppy buyers, and distinguish responsible breeders from backyard and non-standard breeding operations.
ICCGB accreditation is structured across three levels — Gold, Silver, and Bronze, each reflecting defined requirements relating to:
- Health testing and documented results
- Compliance with UK breeding legislation
- Ethical breeding and responsible ownership practices
- Transparency and cooperation with ICCGB verification
- Ongoing education and improvement
We are proud to work in partnership with the Canine Breeder Academy, providing breeders with access to recognised education, structured professional development, and industry-led guidance. Through this partnership, breeders also have the opportunity to attend CPD-accredited Breeder Workshops, designed to promote best practice, legislative compliance, welfare excellence, and responsible breeding management.

Preservation Level
Gold represents the highest level of ICCGB accreditation and is awarded to breeders who demonstrate long-term commitment to the preservation, health, and integrity of the Cane Corso.
Gold Accredited Breeders meet enhanced standards of health testing, transparency, and ethical breeding practice. Their health documentation is fully verified, and they operate within a clear, structured compliance framework.
In addition to meeting legislative and welfare requirements, Gold breeders demonstrate responsible breeding strategy, sound genetic management, and a commitment to protecting correct breed type and temperament.
Gold breeders receive formal certification, priority website placement, free litter advertising, access to mentorship and education initiatives, and recognition as preservation-focused breeders within the ICCGB framework.
This level reflects leadership, accountability, and active stewardship of the breed.
Verified Quality Level
Silver accreditation recognises breeders who exceed baseline requirements and demonstrate verified standards of health testing, compliance, and ethical practice.
Silver breeders submit documented health results for ICCGB verification and operate transparently within club guidelines. They show clear commitment to responsible breeding decisions and continuous improvement, supported by access to ICCGB guidance, educational resources, and professional development opportunities.
Silver Accredited Breeders are formally certified, listed on the ICCGB website, permitted to use the ICCGB Accredited Breeder logo, and eligible for free litter advertising. Their accreditation signals reliability, transparency, and measurable standards.
This tier reflects consistency, responsibility, and verified quality.
Foundation Level
Bronze accreditation represents the foundation of ICCGB recognition and confirms that a breeder meets defined standards of legal compliance, ethical practice, and documented health testing.
Bronze breeders operate within ICCGB’s structured framework, submit required health documentation for verification, and commit to transparent and responsible breeding practices. They receive formal certification, website listing, permission to use the ICCGB Accredited Breeder logo, access to ICCGB-approved contracts and digital resources, and entry into the ICCGB mentorship and education pathway.
Bronze accreditation provides a clear starting point for progression while offering buyers reassurance that standards are in place and monitored.
This tier reflects compliance, accountability, and commitment to improvement.
