Stud Dog Directory
The ICCGB Stud Dog Directory has been established to provide breeders with access to stud dogs that meet clearly defined standards of health, breed integrity, and ethical compliance.
Unlike ranking or promotional platforms, the ICCGB does not tier or grade stud dogs. A stud is either approved for advertisement or it is not. Approval is conditional, evidence-based, and fully aligned with ICCGB policy and breed preservation principles.
To be listed within the directory, stud dogs must:
- Be purebred Cane Corso in accordance with the recognised breed standard
Have a verified pedigree recognised by ICCGB
Meet minimum age and fitness requirements
Comply with UK animal welfare and breeding legislation
Adhere strictly to ICCGB’s cross-breeding prohibition
Submit documented health testing, including:
Hip & Elbow Scoring complete (BVA/recognised scheme)
DSRA testing with full disclosure
The directory operates under a structured governance framework. Advertising must be factual, transparent, and up to date. Health results must be disclosed accurately, and ICCGB branding may only be used where approval is active.
The ICCGB Stud Dog Directory exists to protect breeders, support responsible mating decisions, and safeguard the future of the Cane Corso through transparency and accountability.
