Their breeding programme has a particular interest in established and traditional bloodlines, while recognising the importance of maintaining genetic diversity for the breed’s future.
All breeding dogs are hip and elbow scored, DSRA tested and undergo broader DNA screening through Embark. Pedigrees, relatedness and genetic information are carefully considered when planning combinations, with the aim of avoiding excessive inbreeding and making informed breeding decisions based on more than appearance alone.
As part of their commitment to continued education and responsible breeding practices, they are also a member of the Canine Breeder Academy, continuing to develop their knowledge alongside their practical breeding experience.
